Abstract

The health status of forests in Vojvodina during 2016 was given through the overview of the appearance and distribution of the most important pathogens and pests, and the many different biotic and abiotic factors. Beside the monitoring activities of well-known harmful organisms, a special attention was paid to a new disease in narrow-leaved ash plantations caused by the fungus Chalara fraxinea. Chemical measures against harmful organisms were applied when it was necessary.
