Abstract

The possibility of herbicide application in the suppression of undesired sprouts and shoots of broadleaf trees was studied at the Experimental Station of the Poplar Research Institute in Novi Sad. The study results showed that the applied herbicides Garlon 3A and Glifosav 480 SL had the satisfactory results in the suppression of sprouts. The lower tested concentrations of the preparation were sufficient to control the sprouts and shoots of woody species.
