Efficacy of Thiamethoxam, Deltamethrin and Thiacloprid in Controlling Blue Willow Leaf Beetle (Phyllodecta vitellinae L.)

Abstract
One of the most significant defoliating pests in the of poplars’ and willows’ nurseries and stands in Serbia is blue willow leaf beetle Phyllodecta vitellinae L. The results of examination of the efficiency of insecticides based on tiametoksam, deltametrin and tiakloprid in the control of this harmful insect are presented in this work. The laboratory experiments showed the high efficiency of examined preparations in the control of adults for every of three examined preparations caused efficacy of 100% in 48 hours. Examined preparations showed high efficiency in the control of larvae of P. vitellinae, too.
