Productivity Properties of Technogenic Soil near Chanel DTD in the City of Novi Sad

Abstract

The paper studied the mechanical properties of deposol soils. The area of investigation is Danube-Tisa-Danube channel in the area of the city of Novi Sad. This soils originated from material deposition during channel digging up. Studied soils have heterogeneous granulometric composition. Textural classes of these soils are sand, sandy loam and loam. Analyzed granulometric composition indicates that the mentioned soils have different productivity characteristics for growing of forest tree species.
