Abstract

The paper analyze the spatial distribution of different soil systematic units in Management Unit "Kolut Kozara". In MU "Kolut Kozara" the following soil systematics units were determined: in automorphic order soil type chernozem with varieties: calcareous, calcareous gleyic, brownized, and salinized and alkalized; in halomorphic order soil type solonetz; and in hydromorphic order eugley soil type. The most common soil systematic unit in MU "Kolut Kozara" was chernozem gleyic. The degradation processes are recorded on 49% of the total area. Unprofitable production is primarily related to solonetz, which represents soil type with poor soil properties for forest grown.
