Characteristics of Abandoned Agricultural Land for Afforestation in Vojvodina

Abstract

In this paper are shown the analysis of soil use in agriculture, and proposed land use change especialy for reforestation. For each of the investigated object is determined by limiting characteristics of land for agricultural production. On the study humogley limiting feature is represented by a high content of silt + clay, and thus unfavorable water and air conditions. In meadow soils limiting feature is the increased carbonate content of the surface profile. In addition, for this type of land is necessary to state that the land primarily for forestry. Solonetz and eugley as a limiting feature of having low depth soil profile.
