Abstract

In the area of the aluvial plane of the Danube, an area that was once used as a pond, conducted a study of soil properties on 50 hectares, in order to determine the possibility of its use. Based on morphological characteristics determined by two types of land, swampy gley soil and fluvisol. The data indicate that the tested soil due to its characteristics are not suitable or partially suitable for raising forest plantations.
