Abstract
Forest fires are one of the main causes of damage incurred in forest areas. Damages of them are very large scale and are often undetectable in tangible and intangible values. Given the size of the damage caused by forest fires, it is necessary to develop systems for the early detection of fires in forest areas. The aim of this paper is to present the modern system for monitoring and detection of fire, which is used in the area of Deliblato sand as one of the most vulnerable areas of forest fires. The aim of this paper is to present a modern system for monitoring and detection of fire used in the field Deliblatska peščara as the most disadvantaged areas of forest.
Keywords: forest fire, Deliblato sand, fire detection
